Learn how to become a Horizon Resolver and help resolve disputes in the protocol.

What is a Resolver?

Resolvers are trusted community members who help resolve disputes between mission posters and performers. When a dispute arises, Resolvers review evidence from both parties and make fair decisions to ensure the platform remains trustworthy.

Requirements

To become a Resolver, you must meet the following criteria:

Level Requirement

You must reach Level 15 (Pioneer) with a minimum of 11,000 XP.

Resolvers Guild Membership

Once you reach Level 15, you must join the Resolvers Guild. This is a protocol-level guild that maintains quality standards for dispute resolution.

Resolvers Guild Requirements:

  • Level 15+ (11,000+ XP)
  • Minimum 80 reputation score
  • Clean dispute history (no major infractions)

Resolver Responsibilities

As a Resolver, you will:

  1. Review Disputes - Examine evidence submitted by both parties
  2. Make Fair Decisions - Determine outcomes (Poster Wins, Performer Wins, or Split)
  3. Provide Reasoning - Document your decision with clear justification
  4. Maintain Neutrality - Never resolve disputes involving yourself or friends
